“Always keep one still, secret spot where dreams may go.”

Sherry Barnes, CHP-LSW

Sherry Barnes is the Social Worker Volunteer Coordinator for A Better Way Home Boise Idaho Hospice & Palliative Care organization. Sherry grew up in Boise, Idaho and now resides in Meridian, Idaho. She attended Northwest Nazarene University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, with a minor in Business, in 2004.

Sherry has worked in hospice since 2007 and feels she has found the career of her dreams.  She has a big heart for the many patients she has cared for over these years, and she looks forward to serving many more patients as they make their final journey in life.

Sherry's compassion is deeply rooted in her personal family experience with hospice.  Through these life experiences, Sherry has gained knowledge of topics relevant to Idaho hospice:  working with Medicare and Medicaid, funeral assistance, and finding community resources to assist the needs of her patients.  It is both from her personal and professional experience that Sherry has become such an asset to this field.

Sherry also takes pride in her role as the volunteer coordinator for A Better Way Home.  She enjoys working with volunteers and works hard to place the right volunteer with the right patient.  Sherry knows the value of volunteers in providing the best possible care to her patients, so she always goes out of her way to let her volunteers know how much they are appreciated.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
