Joy has been in nursing since 1975 when she earned her LPN from a college in Las Vegas, NV. Two years later, she obtained her RN and Associates degree, and began a long and wonderful career in the service of others. Between 1977 and 1992, Joy gained valuable experience while working in a hospital setting, covering orthopedics, neurology, medical surgery, oncology, OB-Gyn, and clinical work. Since 1993, Joy has been working in Home Health and Hospice.
Joy prefers to work on-call, covering either evenings or weekends, as needed. She has been a valuable resource for hospice since moving to Boise in 2004. Joy is the mother of four grown children, and she is currently widowed. She has a soft spot in her heart for the work she is doing in hospice, and she is looking forward to continuing her work as a part of the team at A Better Way Home Boise Idaho Hospice & Palliative Care organization. |
